Gerald Montoya
has a degree in Internacional Relations from American University in DC. In
his native Peru he began studying acting at El Club de Teatro of Lima in
1990, and from 1993-96 continued in workshops directed by Reynaldo Arenas,
Carlos Victoria Álvarez and Sara Silva Checa. In 2004 he took a theater
technique workshop taught by the English actor Kathryn McGrath. In 2006 he
began acting workshops at Teatro de la Luna and participated in a
playreading of Smithereens by Mario Diament under Mario Marcel’s
direction. He is also a member of the ongoing ensemble of The Adventures
of Pinocchio. He has studied music and singing, is a composer and a
singer in the international orchestra Latina Harmony directed by
Francisco Aguayo. |
