Alex Alburqueque,
a Peruvian,
began his studies as a vocalist (baritone) at Montgomery Collage of
Maryland, soloing in the IV Requiem Mass in D Minor by Mozart. He
continued his musical studies at the University of Maryland where he sang in
Don Giovanni and in workshops where he interpreted arias from
Samson and Delila, La Fille du Régiment, Don Pasquale, and The
Marriage of Figaro among others. He began working with Teatro de la
Luna as Stage Manager and Music Instructor in its Experience Theater Program
for school children. |
